Mahindra has expanded its Battery-as-a-Service programme across its entire Electric Origin SUV portfolio, adding the XEV 9S and XEV 9e alongside the BE 6 SPORTEQ. Under the dual-financing structure, prices start at Rs 11.45 lakh, with the XEV 9S priced from Rs 12.65 lakh and the XEV 9e starting at Rs 13.90 lakh. Battery EMIs begin at Rs 6,975 per month, translating to an effective usage cost of Rs 3.75 per kilometre based on specified daily usage calculations. The financing option is aimed at lowering the upfront acquisition cost for personal-use buyers amid rising competition in the electric SUV market.
