Mahindra reported domestic passenger vehicle sales of 59,257 units in August 2026, marking a 50% increase compared to the same month last year. While year-on-year growth was significant, the company saw a marginal 1.32% month-on-month decline from July 2026 sales of 60,048 units. The entire passenger vehicle volume was driven by utility vehicles, including models like the Scorpio N, Thar, and XUV 3XO. Year-to-date sales for the segment reached 2,94,050 units, reflecting a 22% growth over the previous year. Additionally, the company recorded a 71% surge in exports, shipping 6,054 vehicles during the month.
