Former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that the Election Commission conducted the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls to help the BJP capture Bengal by deleting names of valid voters. Banerjee took an alternative route through Dankuni and Delhi Road to reach the rally, with a police vehicle accompanying her convoy.
