Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife in Kerala's Malappuram

Hussain Andippatt, a 40-year-old resident of Padinjarekkara, was arrested for the alleged murder of his 37-year-old wife, Fousiya. Police apprehended the suspect while he was travelling by bus in Pookayil following a tip-off. The investigation began after the couple's two children approached authorities on Thursday evening when their parents failed to return home. According to police, the suspect had taken his wife from their home on Wednesday under the pretext of collecting fish at the seashore. Her body was later recovered from the Tirur river, discovered inside a sack.
