Man Arrested in Mumbai for Raping Woman While Posing as Eunuch

A 30-year-old man named Anil Shinde was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Mumbai's Powai area on Wednesday afternoon. Posing as a eunuch and dressed in women's clothing, the accused entered the flat on the pretext of performing a ritual to bless the family with a child. After touching the victim inappropriately and sexually assaulting her, he demanded and received Rs 2,000 before fleeing the scene. The victim informed her husband an hour later, leading the couple to file a formal complaint at the Powai police station. Investigators tracked the suspect using building CCTV footage, an autorickshaw's registration number, and technical evidence, ultimately arresting him in Kalwa later that night.
