The shooting occurred around 11:30 am in the Kotwali area as about 100 students were leaving the premises and guardians were waiting outside, triggering widespread panic. The victim, Nishat Fatima, had been teaching at the institution for a year, while the accused, Saud Ansari, entered the campus alongside arriving parents. Police suspect a failed romantic relationship as the motive behind the murder-suicide and are reviewing school CCTV footage while speaking to both families. A forensic team collected evidence from the spot, and authorities sent the bodies for a post-mortem examination.
