Mandhana's century, her second in T20Is, came off 57 balls and made her the first Indian woman to score two T20I hundreds, with her first coming against England at Trent Bridge in 2025. The knock also became the highest individual score in Women's T20 Asia Cup history, surpassing Chamari Athapaththu's unbeaten 119 against Malaysia in 2024, and took her career centuries tally to 18, moving her ahead of Meg Lanning and Laura Wolvaardt.
