India's top 10 selling cars registered a combined 1,91,332 units in September 2026, marking a 15.45% increase compared to September 2025. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno topped the monthly sales chart with 25,392 units, nearly doubling its performance from the previous year. Maruti Suzuki secured six positions in the top 10, while Tata Motors claimed two spots with the Nexon and Punch both crossing 20,000 units. Hyundai and Mahindra secured one position each with the Creta and Scorpio respectively. Overall, combined sales across the top ten models rose 4.53% compared to August 2026.
