Maruti Eeco Crosses 15 Lakh Sales Milestone in India After 16 Years

Maruti Suzuki has crossed the 15 lakh cumulative sales milestone for the Eeco van in India since its launch in January 2010. Sales momentum has accelerated significantly over the years, with the latest 5 lakh units added in approximately three-and-a-half years. Maruti reports that 65% of Eeco sales in FY2025-26 came from rural markets, while 55% of buyers were first-time car owners and 51% were business owners. The 13-variant lineup includes passenger, cargo, and ambulance configurations, with factory-fitted S-CNG variants accounting for 48% of sales in FY2025-26. The 2026 Eeco is powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet petrol engine and features six airbags as standard alongside electronic stability control and anti-lock braking systems.
