Maruti Fronx Crosses Two Lakh Exports Milestone in 38 Months

Maruti Suzuki has crossed the milestone of 2 lakh exported units for the Fronx in under 38 months since overseas shipments commenced in June 2023. The compact crossover reached its first 1 lakh export milestone in less than 25 months before adding the second lakh units in just 13 additional months. Manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's Hansalpur facility in Gujarat, the Made-in-India SUV is currently shipped to nearly 90 countries, including Japan as part of Suzuki's home market. Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi noted that the accelerating export pace reflects rising international demand and India's growing role as a manufacturing base. Maruti Suzuki held a share of more than 55% of India's passenger vehicle exports during Q1 FY2026-27.
