· Automobile · MotorBeam, CarDekho
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a facelifted version of the C-Class featuring exterior design revisions, upgraded technology, and Euro 7-compliant powertrains. The refreshed sedan adopts styling cues from the electric C-Class, including redesigned headlamps with three-pointed-star lighting elements and an illuminated grille. Inside, the vehicle brings back physical steering wheel controls alongside a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch touchscreen running the fourth-generation MBUX system with integrated AI voice assistance. The engine lineup includes petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid variants paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system to improve throttle response and reduce turbo lag. The updated C-Class is expected to launch in India later this year or in early 2027 with both petrol and diesel engine options.
Why it matters
The updated C-Class brings advanced mild-hybrid powertrains and AI integration to one of the luxury brand's key volume sellers ahead of its Indian market release.
