Meta is reportedly developing a new model of smart glasses, internally dubbed Luna, that excludes integrated cameras to address privacy concerns. The device will feature six built-in microphones and a side-mounted button to facilitate communication with the company's AI chatbot and its Muse consumer agent. This development follows public backlash against Meta's existing camera-equipped smart glasses, which some consumers have labeled as invasive surveillance tools. The company may unveil the Luna model as early as next week during its annual Meta Connect event in Menlo Park.
