Meta Expands Vibe-Coding Gaming App Pocket to US Users

Meta is rolling out its experimental AI-powered gaming app, Pocket, to all users in the U.S. following a test launch in Brazil last month. The app enables users to generate small, interactive games using AI prompts and publish them to a scrollable feed. Built upon Meta's acqui-hire of the vibe-coded gaming platform Gizmo earlier this year, the games respond to touch and phone tilt while incorporating sound effects and personal photos. Users can save, remix, or repost these creations directly on their profiles. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has credited AI-enabled software development for accelerating the company's ability to test and ship standalone mobile applications.
