Mikel Arteta Dismisses Criticism of Arsenal’s Playing Style
· Sports · BBC Sport
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has rejected claims that his team's playing style is boring, describing the critics as a very small minority. The Gunners have secured 10 wins in 11 matches this season, though they have struggled to break down deep-lying defences and have yet to score from a set-piece. Goalkeeper David Raya defended the team's record, noting that the results speak for themselves. The squad is now preparing for a Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Why it matters
