· Entertainment · Indian Express, Times of India
Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty owns a 1.5-acre property in Mumbai's Madh Island area that serves as his primary family residence. Purchased in 1985 shortly after his eldest son Mimoh Chakraborty was born, the property was initially used as a holiday home before the family moved there full-time in 2007. The estate features separate cottages for different family members, houses 22 pets, and includes an in-house studio where his sons shoot films. Younger son Namashi Chakraborty noted that the property also houses Mithun's first Mumbai home—a yellow Volkswagen Beetle in which the actor spent his initial 15 days in the city.
