Moderna’s shares jumped about 150% after the company announced that its personalised mRNA cancer vaccine, intismeran, met its goals in a Phase‑3 trial. The trial, conducted in partnership with Merck’s Keytruda, enrolled 1,137 high‑risk melanoma patients who had undergone surgical removal of cancer and were given the vaccine plus Keytruda.
