MSCI index rebalancing scheduled for September 1 will trigger significant trading activity in Indian markets, with major position adjustments expected in the final 30 minutes of Monday's session. Laurus Labs, Lenskart, Adani Energy Solutions, and Groww are set to be added to the index, attracting a combined $1.516 billion in inflows. Conversely, Balkrishna Industries, SBI Cards, and Astral will be removed, potentially resulting in $450 million in outflows. Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative Research reports that the changes will also involve weight revisions for seven other stocks.
