Mumbai University Launches Apprenticeship-Linked Engineering Degree Programme

The University of Mumbai has introduced an Apprenticeship Embedded B.E. Degree Programme to provide final-year engineering students with industry-oriented practical training. Eligible students must maintain a minimum 6.75 CGPA in their fifth semester, with selection determined by merit. Participants will undergo a one-year apprenticeship across their seventh and eighth semesters, completing 1,260 hours of training to earn 42 credits. The initiative excludes students enrolled in Honours, Minor, or Honours with Research degree tracks. This programme aims to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world industry operations.
