Musk Questions Ambani's Role in Starlink Row
· Business · NDTV, The Hindu
Elon Musk asked on Thursday whether Mukesh Ambani is the 'real boss' of India, intensifying a public dispute over Starlink's entry into the country. The comment comes amid regulatory hurdles Starlink faces in securing spectrum and operational approvals from Indian authorities. Ambani's Reliance Jio, a dominant telecom player, has long been positioned as a competitor to satellite-based internet services. The exact nature of the regulatory row remains unclear, and neither Musk nor Ambani has publicly detailed their respective positions on the matter.
