Naidu To Launch ₹30,156 Crore Water Schemes In Kadapa

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will launch water infrastructure projects worth ₹30,156 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the Proddatur constituency of Kadapa district on October 5, 2026. The initiative aims to provide clean drinking water to 3.27 crore rural households through 27.36 lakh new tap connections. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav are scheduled to join the Chief Minister at the event. The state administration has mobilized nearly one lakh people for the public meeting, with traffic and sanitation arrangements finalized for the venue. Officials also highlighted other regional development plans, including terminal extensions at the Kadapa airport.
