The friend called him and reached his residence by 4 AM, finding him sweating and deteriorating before arranging medical help. Emergency teams performed cardiac massage at his home before shifting him to Manipal Hospital around 4:20–4:30 AM. A police case has been filed as the death falls under a medico-legal case, and his body has been sent to Goa Medical College for post-mortem examination.
