Natura launches $99 smart ring Interface for AI agents and health tracking
· Technology · TechCrunch
Natura, the AI and hardware startup founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, has unveiled Interface, a $99 smart ring designed for the AI agent era. The wearable allows users to press their finger to task AI agents for completing actions, capturing thoughts, and managing daily tasks without touching a phone. Beyond AI interaction, the ring monitors health metrics including heart rate, HRV, sleep, and activity. After years developing consumer hardware with Rolling Square, Ferraris created the ring to provide 24/7 agent access via a form factor he describes as a natural extension of the body, suitable for showering and sleeping. At launch, Interface will connect with AI agents and apps such as Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, and ChatGPT, with pre-orders opening next month and shipping slated for December or January.
Why it matters
The $99 price point and ring form factor position Interface to make AI agent interaction more immediate and continuous for consumers, potentially reducing phone dependency for everyday tasks. Its health tracking integration further blurs the line between consumer electronics and wellness devices.
