The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling, with registration opening on September 3 and closing on September 8. The round covers seat allocation for MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical and dental courses under the All India Quota and deemed/central universities. Candidates who were not allotted seats in Round 1, or who wish to upgrade, will be eligible to participate in fresh choice filling during the window. The MCC is expected to announce seat allotment results and reporting dates shortly after the registration deadline. The schedule comes amid an unusually busy medical admission cycle following delays and litigation around NEET UG results earlier this year.
