The National Investigation Agency informed a Delhi court that seven foreign nationals arrested in March for conspiracy against India were involved in a drone attack on a civilian aircraft in Myanmar. The suspects, comprising six Ukrainians and one American, are currently lodged in Tihar Jail. According to the NIA application, 14 Ukrainians entered India on tourist visas and traveled to Mizoram without permits before illegally entering Myanmar. There, they allegedly conducted drone warfare and assembly training for Ethnic Armed Groups fighting the Myanmar military junta. The investigation follows reports of an FPV suicide drone striking a Myanmar National Airlines passenger aircraft at Myitkyina airport in February.
