Nurse Arrested Under POCSO Act for Assaulting 16-Year-Old Girl in Kollam Hospital

A 38-year-old nursing officer, identified as Migdad from Thiruvananthapuram, was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at the ESIC Model Hospital in Asramam, Kollam, on September 8. The assault allegedly occurred in the hospital elevator when the accused followed the minor inside. The girl’s mother reported the incident to Kollam East Police, who tracked and arrested Migdad from the hospital premises on September 9. Charges have been registered against him, and he was remanded in judicial custody. The accused, who is also a YouTuber, had gone into hiding after the assault.
