Omar Abdullah Opens First J&K Film Festival in Srinagar

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the maiden edition of the International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar on Monday evening. Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and actor Fatima Sana Shaikh also attended the opening event, highlighting personal connections to the region. The festival features an eminent jury including Santosh Sivan, Dorothee Wenner, Keiko Bang, and Himansu Sekhar Khatua.
