OpenAI Brings Voice-Based Agentic Features to ChatGPT Mobile App

OpenAI announced that it is bringing voice-based agentic features to the ChatGPT mobile app, allowing users to trigger workflows like drafting documents and summarizing emails. Plus and Pro subscribers can use the Work tab on their mobile devices to create documents, draft emails, summarize Slack messages, build sites, create presentations, and access cloud browsers and finances. Meanwhile, Free and Go users gain access to plugins and connected apps. The rollout includes richer text output for voice conversations, easy switching between text and voice, and cross-platform continuity that lets users start conversations on mobile and resume them on desktop. The update follows the July launch of the conversational model GPT-Live and its subsequent desktop integration for tasks in the Work tab and Codex tab.
