OpenAI Launches Interactive Visual Interface for ChatGPT
· Technology · TechCrunch
OpenAI is rolling out a new feature called Intelligent UI for ChatGPT, which integrates interactive visual elements into conversations. The interface introduces tappable buttons, custom calculators, interactive charts, and editable graphs designed to make learning complex topics easier. In a demonstration, product manager Aarush Selvan showed how the chatbot can instantly generate diagrams explaining abstract concepts such as airplane wing lift, bicycle mechanics, and hiking routes. Users will be able to customize the frequency of visuals or dial them back if they prefer less graphical output. Intelligent UI arrives Wednesday for GPT-6 users on Pro, Plus, Business, and Enterprise tiers, followed by a release on Thursday for free and Go tier users.
Why it matters
