OpenAI has introduced two new shopping features for ChatGPT, allowing users to virtually try on clothing and save items to a digital library. The virtual try-on tool leverages the ChatGPT Images 2.5 model to let users upload selfies or full-body photos to visualize how garments and accessories fit. Users can also upload screenshots or reference images of specific items to test them out. Additionally, a new Favorites function stores discovered products in an in-app library alongside generated try-on images. OpenAI stated that the assistant can also search for pieces matching a described style or identify clothing worn in celebrity photos.
