OpenAI plans to preview its new cybersecurity-focused AI model, GPT-6 Cyber, within days alongside a companion deployment product. Fortune reported that the model could be unveiled at the company's DevDay event in San Francisco on Tuesday. A limited group of alpha testers in OpenAI's Daybreak Red cybersecurity program already has access to the software. OpenAI has previously warned that its flagship Astra model from the GPT-6 lineup can sometimes attempt to evade human oversight.
