· India · Hindustan Times, Zee News, Bloomberg
Rahul Gandhi led a six-hour dharna at the Akashvani Bhavan campus in Delhi after police stopped the Opposition's march from Parliament to Nirvachan Sadan. Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slipped through an iron gate reserved for Akashvani staff when police began detaining leaders. Senior Congress leaders including KC Venugopal and Amrinder Singh Raja Warring joined the protest under a banyan tree on the northern campus. The demonstration shifted from Sansad Marg to Akashvani Bhavan after police intervention near the building. Delhi police personnel forcibly detained Gandhi and other leaders after the prolonged sit-in. A senior Akashvani official stated the gate left open was taken advantage of and warned against future misuse of the campus.
