Over 7,200 CBI Corruption Cases Pending Trial in Indian Courts

More than 7,200 corruption cases investigated by the CBI remain pending trial in various courts across India as of December 31, 2025. According to the Central Vigilance Commission, 409 of these cases have been pending for over two decades. Additionally, the report identifies 14,083 appeals and revisions currently awaiting resolution in high courts and the Supreme Court.
