Pakistani influencer Shamso Bibi, widely known as Ayesha Gilamana, was shot dead in Taxila on August 14 while travelling in a car with her siblings. Two unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire, striking Bibi in the neck and causing her vehicle to crash into another car, which seriously injured her 15-year-old sister Aseema. Her father, Fazal Sahibzada, stated in a police complaint that Bibi had received a phone call from a man named Kashif before leaving the house. The family has alleged that a financial dispute involving individuals named Kausar and Javed was behind the killing, though police have not established a definitive motive. This incident marks the fifth reported killing of a woman social media influencer in Pakistan over the past year.
