A passenger on a diverted Flydubai flight has recounted to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu how he and other passengers intervened during a cockpit attack. The traveler explained how they pinned the alleged attacker to the ground and pulled the plane controls backward to stop a rapid nosedive. The aircraft had plummeted 17,000 feet in less than two minutes before being diverted to Saudi Arabia. Passengers eventually landed safely in Tel Aviv after a replacement Flydubai aircraft transported them to their destination. The prime minister greeted the arriving passengers at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.
