PC Jeweller shares traded higher on Tuesday, reaching an intraday high of ₹9.87, even as the Nifty 50 index faced a broad market decline. The jewellery company informed stock exchanges that it has successfully repaid all outstanding debt to 8 of its 14 consortium banks ahead of schedule. The company has also cleared over 96% of the debt owed to the remaining 6 banks. PC Jeweller reported a 37.2% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹222 crore for Q1FY27. The firm aims to achieve debt-free status within the current quarter.
