Brent crude fell 0.6 percent to trade around $95.10 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate slipped 0.4 percent to approximately $90.66 a barrel. State-run Oil Marketing Companies have kept domestic commodity prices stable for the past three months despite ongoing volatility in global energy markets. The last major fuel price revision occurred on 25 May, when petrol and diesel prices were increased by ₹2.7 and ₹2.8 per litre respectively. The recent easing in international benchmarks follows comments from US President Donald Trump downplaying the prospect of a prolonged conflict with Iran.
