Piramal Finance has initiated a qualified institutions placement (QIP) to raise up to ₹2,100 crore. The company's board approved the opening of the issue on 24 August 2026, setting the floor price at ₹2,102.65 per share. The funds are intended to meet capital requirements for lending and to maintain capital adequacy ratios. This move follows a broader board approval to raise up to ₹4,000 crore, which was initially announced in July.
Why it matters
