PM Modi Arrives in Tashkent for State Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Saturday for a two-nation state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Modi at the airport in a special gesture, after which the two leaders shared a ride. Modi is scheduled to hold delegation-level talks with President Mirziyoyev to review cooperation in trade, defence, energy, and digital connectivity. The Prime Minister's itinerary also includes traveling to Bishkek to attend the 26th SCO Summit from August 30 to September 1.
