Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a Bhajan Clubbing event at Delhi's Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park to mark the 110th birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Wearing an orange waistcoat over a traditional white kurta-pyjama, PM Modi sat in the front row as musicians performed devotional songs. Earlier in the day, he paid floral tributes to Upadhyaya and praised his Antyodaya philosophy of uplifting the marginalized as a cornerstone of national development. In social media posts and official statements, the Prime Minister urged citizens to internalize Upadhyaya's ideals and fulfill their social and national responsibilities. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was born on September 25, 1916, and served as president of the Jana Sangh before passing away in February 1968.
