PM Modi Inaugurates ₹150-Crore Arvind Limited Plant In Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new textile manufacturing facility for Ahmedabad-based Arvind Limited in the Khochwan area of Varanasi. The plant, constructed at a cost of approximately ₹150 crore, spans 7–8 acres and is expected to generate thousands of jobs for the Purvanchal region. Officials have already recruited over 300 local women, who are currently undergoing training at the site. The facility will produce sportswear and undergarments for various multinational brands. The Prime Minister also interacted with the workers and viewed an exhibition of fabrics produced at the unit.
