PM Modi Inaugurates NGT Environment Conference in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a two-day international conference on The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on September 19. The event is being organised by the National Green Tribunal and brings together judges, environmental experts and senior government officials from India and abroad. Judicial representatives from 17 countries are participating in the conference, which features four technical sessions on key environmental and climate issues. President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to attend the valedictory session on September 20. The conference aims to identify gaps in policy-making and develop a roadmap for addressing present and future environmental challenges.
