Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Saturday for a two-day state visit. He received a warm welcome from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who accompanied him by car to the presidential palace. The two leaders held a dinner meeting and will discuss trade, defence, digital connectivity, energy, education, and people-to-people ties. This is PM Modi's fourth visit to Uzbekistan since taking office. He will next travel to Bishkek for the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
