He criticized the tendency to dismiss losses as learning experiences or celebrate minor wins against Asian opponents rather than building teams capable of winning globally. On Monday, the Indian men's team lost 3-5 to Argentina in a second-round pool match, crashing out of the FIH World Cup semifinal race. Sukhjeet Singh scored a field goal for India, while Tomas Domene and Joaquin Toscani each scored braces for Argentina.
