Pratyush Prabhakar Elected VP of Academic Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School

Indian public policy professional Pratyush Prabhakar has been elected Vice-President of Academic Affairs in the student government at the Harvard Kennedy School. Students from over 96 countries participated in the election, the results of which were announced on October 2. Prabhakar, an Edward S Mason Fellow pursuing a Master's in Public Administration, will co-chair the HKS Academic Affairs Committee alongside the Dean. Prior to joining Harvard, he worked as a policy and communications adviser to the Minister of Railways and served with the Ministry of Education. During his campaign, he cited Mahatma Gandhi as an inspiration, referencing the date of the announcement on Gandhi Jayanti.
