PrismML Brings Tiny Language Models to Qualcomm Snapdragon Smart Glasses

The AI startup PrismML has developed a version of its tiny language models designed to run locally on smart glasses powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. The chipmaker showcased the 1-bit Bonsai LLM during its Snapdragon Summit, running on the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 Platform. The model is a 2-billion-parameter system tuned for vision and language, allowing wearers to query their surroundings in real time. PrismML shrinks larger models by a factor of four while retaining nearly identical performance on standard benchmarks. No specific smart glasses running the PrismML software have been commercially announced yet.
