Pune Police Case Against Biker for Overtaking Union Minister's Convoy

Pune Police have registered a case against a 32-year-old biker for allegedly overtaking Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol’s security convoy in an unsafe manner. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm on September 13 while the convoy was passing through Sanchaiti Chowk in Shivajinagar. Police officer Eshwar Laxman Bhikule filed a complaint against Shubham Vijay Vanit, a resident of Nana Peth. Authorities alleged that Vanit was riding at high speed and endangered other motorists and pedestrians. Vinod Satav, an Officer on Special Duty to the minister, alleged that the biker was under the influence of alcohol and breached the Y+ security cover provided by the central government. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
