Rahul Gandhi's Flight Makes Go-Around in Lucknow, Lands Safely

An Air India flight carrying Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi performed a go-around at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Tuesday due to gusty winds. Flight AI-1717, travelling from Delhi to Lucknow, aborted its first landing attempt at around 3.45 pm after the flight crew assessed the prevailing weather conditions. The aircraft circled back and landed safely about 10 minutes later at 3.55 pm. All passengers on board disembarked normally following the second landing attempt. Air India has not yet issued an official statement regarding the weather-related incident.
