Rajasthan High Court Advocates Protest Against Acting Chief Justice

Advocates at the Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur staged a sit-in protest outside the courtroom of Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma on Monday. The demonstration follows allegations of administrative misconduct and favouritism raised by Supreme Court judge Justice Sandeep Mehta in letters to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. Justice Mehta has requested the transfer of Justice Sharma out of the Rajasthan High Court. The protest occurred while a division Bench led by the Acting Chief Justice was hearing cases.
