· Entertainment · Pinkvilla, Indian Express
Rajinikanth's PR team has dismissed reports alleging creative disagreements between the superstar and director Ashwath Marimuthu during the shoot of their upcoming film Dharman. A team member stated in Tamil that Rajinikanth feels comfortable and happy working with the director due to his dynamic working style, describing production as progressing rapidly and excellently. The film, previously known as Thalaivar173, underwent two director changes before Marimuthu took over in June. Slated for release in January 2027, Dharman features Simran, Raashii Khanna, and Yogi Babu in key roles alongside Rajinikanth, who was recently revealed sporting blue scrubs and holding a scalpel in the first look. Before this project, Rajinikanth will star in Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer 2, which releases on October 15.
