Ram Temple Trust Receives Bounced Rs 4 Crore Cheque

A Rs 4 crore cheque donated to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya has bounced after the donor's bank account was found to contain only Rs 3. The donation was issued by a woman from Chennai who had also made a separate Rs 10,000 contribution to the temple. The Trust is currently in discussions with the donor to resolve the matter, while the bank prepares to issue a formal notice. This incident follows a massive 2020 fundraising campaign that collected approximately Rs 3,500 crore, though some cheques from that period also failed to clear.
